An outcast from it's pack
It licks each wound.
With each tender pass,
Eternal agony heavily resumed.
He limps alone
Each step a weak hobble.
The injury a reminder,
He is no role model.
He howls out to the moon,
A tale of it's sad plight.
Hoping someone would hear,
A cry out to the night.
The tale is over,
His song is now hushed.
No reply.
His spirit now crushed.
He lies there
He closes his eyes
The lone Wolf whimpers
As his soul dies.
Time has passed
All that's left is bone
His life was unlived,
His life was unknown.
The tragedy of the wolf,
Not one sought after.
The Lone Wolf forgotten,
Irrelevant hereafter.
